Our Internships

We are looking for passionate and motivated students who are interested in pursuing a career in media to join our team! This program is a paid, six-week summer internship.

Applications will be accepted through January 8, 2021. Successful candidates will be contacted starting in February. 

As an intern we want you to truly be part of the team and to make a meaningful contribution during your time on the team. Our internships are designed to involve you with hands-on project work from day one, you will face new challenges every day and work alongside career professionals. We want you to gain a better understanding of the professional field you aspire to work in, through learning experiences, and gain skills to ensure a successful transition there.

Team & Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic and hardworking intern for our Finance Department who is ready to apply knowledge of financial terms and principles to an authentic real-world experience. 

This position will support the Finance Team with day to day operations and projects, including analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and learning about varied accounting activities. This is an exciting opportunity for any student pursuing a career in finance.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Assist in various aspects of monthly close process, including journal entries preparation

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations

  • Participate in processes risk assessment and provide support in improving existing processes

  • Participate in other ad-hoc projects as needed

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Students currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and entering at least their junior year who are pursuing BA or MA in Accounting

  • An overall GPA of 3.3 or higher

  • Excellent analytic and organizational skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow through. 

  • Take initiative to undertake tasks 

  • Ability to work independently, but also work well with co-workers in a team environment

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, prior experience with Oracle is a plus
