State Farm’s Law Department is seeking to fill an Administrative Support position for its Westminster Claim Litigation Counsel office (Stuart S. Jorgensen & Associates). The position is currently remote; however, will require occasional and eventual in-office attendance. The ideal candidate should have two to three years of receptionist and phone operator experience using both a multi-line hard phone as well as soft phone system, scanning mail, downloading electronic media from cloud based sites, scheduling and setting up meeting rooms, and must type 50+ wpm. The preferred candidate will be bilingual, with legal environment and terminology experience and excellent organization, problem-solving, time-management and follow-through skills in a fast-paced team environment. Accuracy, detail-orientation, timeliness and strong technical and grammatical skills are a must. Our receptionist will be cross-trained to process drafts, update and set-up files using case management software, and to assist with medical record organization. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
- Familiarity of the legal process including legal and medical terminology
- Accurate typing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working in an office setting
- Strong computer skills and experience working in a digital/electronic environment
